200-hr Outdoor Education Yoga Teacher Training Guatemala
at The Mystical Yoga Farm, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
Full Moon to Full Moon November 10th – December 10th 2011
This unique Guatemala Yoga Teacher Training is for those inspired to blend the joyful practices of yoga and learning modules of outdoor education, for deeper understanding of our humanity, emotions and connection with Community, Mother Earth and the Cosmic Oneness. You will learn ways to share unique healing modalities with your groups to be adapted for use in the outdoor education field setting or in the classroom setting. As a group we will live and explore the integration of yoga, meditation, self inquiry and the significance of ceremony inside the Outdoor Education Module.

We will be exploring and embracing the fullness of complimentary sadahana (spiritual practices), diving into the divine through study and experiential play with yoga, pranayama, meditation, group process/communal living, yoga & hiking, yoga & paddling, yoga & camping, Ayurveda, reiki, karma yoga, farming, shamanic journeying and Daily Ceremonies which will include nightly satsang with kirtan, ecstatic dance, mantra japa chanting, Mother Earth ceremonies and meditation. We will learn about healing our planet by living in harmony and balance with nature at our base camp, The Mystical Yoga Farm, and in the field on day and overnight yoga & backpacking excursions visiting sacred sights surrounding the breathtaking Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
Food at the Mystical Yoga Farm is vegetarian served twice daily (breakfast and dinner with a midday snack) and is often harvested from our organically cultivated volcanic soil. We also prepare and serve typical Guatemalan food drawing on the traditions of the food prepared by the local Tz´utujil and Kaq´chikel peoples.
