Sadhana Yoga School proudly offers yoga teacher trainings and events in India, the sacred motherland of yoga.
Our India programs are located at Devarya Welless, located in the heart of a serene seaside town of Goa. Spanning 7,000 square meters, this green retreat overlooking the Morjim Beach is a peaceful sanctuary to reconnect and find peace within. At Devarya, which translates into Divine Belief in Sanskrit, everyone can experience the goodness and mindfulness of a holistic yoga lifestyle.
While attending an event or yoga teacher training in India with us, we will meditate together each morning looking out at the Arabian Sea, practice yoga together on the open air deck, engage in meaningful philosophical discussion in a conscious way allowing us to explore the depth of mind and emotion.

To better assist you during planning, we’ve put together a flight resources guide. For programs in India, students should fly into Dabolim International Airport (GOI), which is approximately 90 minutes away by car. Passport and Visa for India
Please note the information below is applicable to US Citizens only. If you are not from the US, it is your responsibility to refer to the website of the Indian Consulate for your country.
You must have a valid passport with a blank page.
It is important to note that India requires a visa, which must be taken care of ahead of time (the two options for obtaining one are detailed below). It is also important to note that Indian travel regulations change often, and generally with little notice. We will be keeping an eye on relevant changes, but you should also check back to the link below for any updated information.
More information and details on requirements when traveling to India can be found on this page, and on links accessible from this page.
You can apply online here for your standard Indian Visa. It is recommended to apply for your visa at least 15 days in advance. Please note that your visa type & reason for visiting is tourism, and also that this is the only site approved by the Indian Government to process visa applications in the USA.
If you are certain that you will be in the country fewer than 30 days, there is also the option to apply for an electronic travel authorization in lieu of a Visa, at the link below. This is recommended to be done at least 4 days before travel (but not more than 30 days). We advise completing the process with enough time to apply for a traditional visa (in the event they do not approve your electronic travel authorization).
It is important to state your visa type and reason for visiting is tourism.
You can refer to this site for information regarding visa fees.
Important: You will be given a form to fill out on the plane for customs. Please select the option which states that you are there for vacation/holiday (as we are not a permanent India institution).

You will need money for the taxi from the airport and back, as well as for your dinner each day ($10-15 daily budget). You also might want to go shopping in the nearby town, take a sightseeing trip on your day off.
WHAT SETS US APART?
"Amazing opportunity for yoga teacher training course. So many great options for whatever type of experience fits your lifestyle!" - Danielle, Sadhana Yoga School Graduate, New Hampshire Program
"I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Sadhana Yoga School. Anjili & Bryan both have a world of knowledge that they impart to their students. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking to either begin or continue their yoga education." - Kristen, Sadhana Yoga School Graduate, New Hampshire Program
"I went to Fiji in September, 2014. Looking back now in 2016 I understand that this was the best yoga teacher training program I could have ever imagined. Not only did the training improve my physical practice, but I have now embraced Ayurveda and am a much, much healthier person than before my training. I even sent my 19-yr.-old son to Fiji in 2015 to do his 200 hr. training. He had a blast! Daku Resort is sweet." - Sue, Sadhana Yoga School Graduate, Fiji Program
