I am a curious and passionate friend, wife, sister and nurse. I love to be outside whenever possible, particularly kayaking and swimming. I found yoga when I first struggling with nightshift work and the health consequences of nursing and was amazed at the improvements I saw in sleep and anxiety. I have since moved into the mental health field, providing nursing care for chronically mentally ill and homeless populations. I have found breathwork and yoga to be healing in this population and hope to learn more in order to provide more holistic care.
